Boltjar ships 62 core nodes. Each page below is generated from the node’s own declaration, so its ports, types and knobs match what the editor draws. A trigger node starts turns, a fired node runs when an event reaches it, a pulled node runs when a fired node reads its output, a called node runs when a model calls it, and a routing node only joins wires. Triggers and pulled data explains the difference.

| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Agenda |
Fire from data instead of a fixed clock: poll a wired store table of {when, payload} rows and fire each row when its when is due. |
trigger |
| Audio Input |
Send a microphone clip into the live graph while you hold to talk. |
trigger |
| Chat Input |
Type a message and send it into the live graph. |
trigger |
| Interval |
Fire an event every N seconds. |
trigger |
| Manual |
Fires once when the graph turns On, and again whenever you press its Fire button. |
trigger |
| Schedule |
Fire on a cron schedule: ‘min hour day month weekday’, in the zone its timezone knob picks. |
trigger |
| Webhook |
Listen for HTTP calls from outside. |
trigger |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Audio |
An audio source: an https URL, or a local file in user/data/files or examples/ (read into a data: URL). |
pulled |
| Boolean |
A constant boolean. |
pulled |
| Float |
A constant float. |
pulled |
| Image |
An image source: an https URL, or a local file in user/data/files or examples/ (read into a data: URL). |
pulled |
| Integer |
A constant integer. |
pulled |
| Text |
A constant text block. |
pulled |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Build JSON |
Build a JSON object from wired inputs: each input’s port name becomes a key holding that input’s value. |
pulled |
| Chunk |
Split text into overlapping chunks to embed and store. |
pulled |
| Compute |
Derive a value from an expression over the wired inputs. |
pulled |
| Format List |
Turn a json list into text: render each item with a {field} template and join with a separator (one per line by default). |
pulled |
| Get |
Read the value at a dotted or bracket path (user.name, items.0.id). |
pulled |
| List |
Assemble wired values into one list (the reverse of For-each). |
pulled |
| Parse |
Parse JSON text into a structured value. |
pulled |
| Sentences |
Split text into a list of sentences (each ends on . ! ? … or a new line). |
pulled |
| Split JSON |
Split a json object onto one output per configured key (the reverse of Build JSON): each key routes its value. |
pulled |
| Stringify |
Turn a value into JSON text, indented two spaces. |
pulled |
| Tag Parse |
Read inline [bracket] tags in text: emit a mood (the highest-priority mood tag), the display text with its tags shown as emoji, cut short or removed, and an action. |
pulled |
| Template |
Assemble text from {tag} pipes. |
pulled |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Strip |
Clean text for TTS and more: drop emoji, markdown markers, [bracket] tags, *action* stage directions and URLs. |
pulled |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Logic |
Route a value true/false on an expression. |
fired |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Changed |
Pass a value on only when it differs from the last one. |
fired |
| For-each |
Hand out a list one item at a time. |
fired |
| Queue |
Run many producers through one lane. |
fired |
| Router |
Reroute a wire anywhere on the canvas: one in, one out, no change. |
routing |
| Sync |
A control barrier: it fires one trigger once every wired input has fired, then resets. |
fired |
| Wait |
Relay a trigger after a delay, one trigger out for each one in. |
fired |
| Wireless In |
Broadcast any wires on a channel (1 to 100). |
routing |
| Wireless Out |
Receive the wires broadcast by the Wireless In on the same channel (1 to 100). |
routing |
| Node |
What it does |
Runs |
| Embed |
Turn text into an embedding vector with the embed model you pick, the way the LLM picks its model. |
fired |
| LLM |
A chat / multimodal model. |
fired |
| Rerank |
Reorder candidates by how well each one answers the query, and keep the best. |
fired |
| STT |
Speech to text. |
fired |
| Tool |
A tool the LLM can call. |
called |
| Tool Args |
Where a tool’s body starts. |
