Meter
A number that persists across fires and drifts toward rest at rate per second, worked out when it is read, with no timer running. Fire nudge to add amount, or set to overwrite it with to (both triggers must be wired); it always stays within min and max. Emits value, and a crossed event (up or down) when a fire moves it across threshold. Use it for a mood, energy or attention level.
Fired. It runs when an event or a value lands on nudge or set, and pulls its other inputs at that moment.

Example
Section titled “Example”A number that remembers. Fire nudge to add amount, fire set to jump to to, and between fires it drifts toward rest at rate per second. crossed fires when a change carries it over threshold, with the direction. Turn on persist to keep the value across restarts. An attention level that rises with every message and fades when nobody talks is one Meter.
