Fire from data instead of a fixed clock: poll a wired store table of {when, payload} rows and fire each row when its when is due. when is an ISO 8601 date and time, or a count of seconds since 1970 (Unix time). It fires due with the payload and emits payload, then marks the row done (or deletes it) so it never fires twice. Several due rows fire one at a time, earliest first.

Trigger. It starts turns on its own: when it fires, the nodes wired to its outputs run.

Example

Keep reminders in a table and let the data decide when they fire. Give a table the columns when, payload and done, wire a Database into db, and set table to its name. A row with when = 2026-10-01T09:00 and payload = {"text": "Renew the domain"} fires once, at the first poll after that time: due fires carrying the payload, and the row gets done = 1. Without a done column the row is deleted instead. when also takes seconds since 1970.
